ESSLLI 2008

Evening Lectures

Sommerabendvorlesungen Logik, Sprache, Information

It is a tradition at ESSLLI to have a number of evening lectures of eminent scholars and researchers of the field who not only reach out to the entire ESSLLI community, but even beyond to the general audience. These evening lectures will be open to the general public and will be widely advertised at the Universität Hamburg and in local newspapers. The evening lectures are supposed to provide a research overview of some parts of our community understandable for everyone. Under the title Sommerabendvorlesungen Logik, Sprache, Information, all students of the university and teachers of local high schools will be invited to join us for the evening lectures.

We are extremely pleased to have attracted excellent evening lecturers for ESSLLI 2008. On 5 August, we will start the series of four lectures with a German-language introduction for non-participants of ESSLLI.
