Location

COMSOC-2008 will take place at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Liverpool. Talks and coffee breaks will be organised in the Ashton building, Ashton Street, Liverpool L69 3BX. All talks will be held in the main lecture theatre on the first floor. Registration and coffee breaks will take place on the ground floor.

Central Liverpool is within easy reach of the workshop venue. Lime Street Station (the main central station) is about 1km away. Liverpool John Lennon Airport is about a half-hour bus trip from Lime Street Station. Manchester Airport is about 2 hours away by train.

There are several hotels within walking distance of both the workshop venue and some of the tourist attractions in the centre (but any other hotel or hostel close to the centre will do as well). (e.g. Liner Hotel, Feathers Hotel, Aachen Hotel); for more details see the "travel and accommodation" link to the left.
