FRWC 2008

Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg

4-15 August 2008

The FoLLI Research Workshop Convention (FRWC) is a high profile research event annually co-organized with the European Summer School for Logic, Language and Information (ESSLLI). Every year it has 9-12 international research workshops covering various topics from Computer Science, Mathematics, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, and Philosophy. It attracts the leading researchers in our field and can be considered one of the research highlights in Logic, Language and Information every year.

FRWC 2008 is hosted by the Universität Hamburg and is co-organized with ESSLLI 2008. The programme committee of FRWC 2008 selected ten workshops to be organized as part of the convention. Each of the workshops will be held in a fixed daily slot (9:15-10:45, 11:00-12:30, 14:15-15:45 or 17:15-18:45) during one of the two weeks of FRWC 2008, allowing participants to go to up to six of the ten workshops.

The workshop organizers are responsible for setting up a programme committee for each workshop. This workshop programme committee then solicits submissions and handles the peer-reviewing process. If you are interested in submitting a paper to one of the workshops, take a look at the calls for papers of all the workshops.
