How to get here

From Schiphol Airport.
After leaving the security zone, you will come into the big entrance hall
of Schiphol Airport. Escalators go to the railway station Schiphol
which is underneath the entrance hall. You buy tickets at the yellow
ticket machines to Amsterdam Centraal, current price: € 3.80.
Find the next train to Amsterdam Centraal (trains leave roughly
every ten minutes during the day and early evening) and after that follow
the instructions in the section From Amsterdam Central Station.
The trip to Central Station takes
20 minutes.
You can also take a taxi (the taxi stand is right outside of the
entrance hall) for about € 40. If you are staying at a central
location in Amsterdam, the taxi will not be much faster than the train,
but might save the hassle of walking with luggage in the city.
From Amsterdam Central Station.
Leave the station towards the city centre, find the tram stops and board
tram number 9 (tram number 9 runs from the tram stop to the left of the
exit of central station). Take tram 9 to Plantage Badlaan (one stop
after the Zoo) and get off. Right to the left of the tram stop, there is a
little street called Plantage Lepellaan. Follow it to the end and
you stand in front of the Euclides building. The tram ride costs
€ 1.60 and it is a one-zone ride (in case the tram conductor asks
"how many zones?"). You pay on the tram when you enter. The tram ride from
Central Station takes about 20 minutes, and tram number 9 runs every 10
minutes during the day.
Alternatively, you can print the google map and walk. With a decent
walking pace, you should be able to get to Euclides within 20
minutes. However, Amsterdam streets can be a bit confusing, and consider
the possibility that you might get lost.
